What do I get for my domain transfer fee? Is there an extension of the term of registration for transferred domains?

by: Chris
6 April, 2009

Intrahost will process your transfer request with the appropriate registry, if needed, and extend the registration term of the transferred domain name by 1 year from the expiration date of the original registration unless the 1 year extension would bring the total registration term to over 10 years. In such cases, the total registration term with the extension would be limited to 10 years.

What’s the difference between Shared and Dedicated bandwidth?

by: Chris

With unmetered / unlimited shared bandwidth there is no limit set on your account for the amount of traffic visiting your sites. You have a 10Mbs connection but the bandwidth is shared with other users.
Dedicated or CDR bandwidth is available as an option. It is purchased in 1Mbps chunks and guarantees the connection speed, no matter what other users are doing, with no charge for the amount of traffic.

by: Chris

Yes. You get full administrative access to your Dedicated Server. You have full control, but please be aware that you are responsible for any changes that you make. If you are unsure, the optional Full Server Management is highly recommended.
