Although we offer full customisable co-location solutions, we also offer a basic colo service. The table below allows you to purchase an off the shelf co-location service ideal for companies with a smaller requirement. Preferred data centre *

This is the data centre you would prefer your equipment to be colocated in. Not all locations are always available due to space limitations.

Type of colocation required *

This is the type of colocation you are interested in.

(if shared) Number of U required

You only need to fill this in if you have selected Shared rack in the above options.

Services are charged by the amount of U(Rack Units) the equipment takes up or by the amount of power it uses in amps. So a for a 2U server that uses 1.3amps of power, you will need to select the option 3U or 1.5amps.

(if dedicated) Any additional power required

You only need to fill this in if you have selected Dedicated colocation in the above options.

Dedicated colocation comes with an alloted amount or power depending on the amount of space required. Quarter racks are provided with 3.0amps and full racks are provided with 10amps of power.

Amount of required bandwidth (CDR Mbps) *

This is the ammount of CDR bandwidth you require, in Mbps. Each connection has unmetered traffic.

Number of required IP's *

We include 1 IP for each U of space on our shared colocation, and 8 IP's with our quarter rack colocation as standard.

Additional Network Ports *

The number of additional network ports you require for your equipment.

Additional Power Sockets *

Each Unit or rack space with a shared colocation comes with a single power socket, wheras our quater cabs come with an 8 socket power supply. Additional power sockets could be required for use with servers or equipment that require a dual powere supply.

Firewall Requirements *

We do not supply any firewall protection as standared with any of our colocation services, this leaves you free to manage your servers security in your own way, and to your own standards. Should you not wish to go with any of the above options, we can obviously provide and install any equipment you wish to use, and help configure it where necessary.

Installation type *

This is basically your option, and often boils down to personal preference, although shipping the equipment to us for us to install is the cheaper of the two options.

Accompanied installation, is where you would meet our engineers at the data centre who would assist you with getting your equipment in, but the configuring of the equipment would be down to you.

Configuring the equipment first, then having it shipped to us for our engineers to install at the data centre is exactly as it sounds, and usually the quickest and cheapest option.
